Hi everyone

Baby is due end of May, how many babygrows would you say I need? I've got lots of short sleeved vests and about 15 full length baby grows but I'm racking my brain wondering how many they'll actually need through summer so newborn and 0-3?

What did your babies live in through the summer months?

Thank you!

I had a August baby 2020 and it was hotter than I presume hell! We bough air conditioning that year as we where soo worried! Lots of vests shorty growers and Muslins! I’m due again in July and I’m not excited to do the heat with a newborn again!

With small babies you need layers, so you can add and take off as needed.

One thing to bear in mind is that you May born baby might be born into premie sizes or 0-3 and skip the smaller ones... My full termer came home in premie sizes and was closer to 6 weeks by the time he fit newborn, my first came home in nebworn they lasres a week and then she always ran 2-3months ahead of sizing...

So if I were you I'd have a couple of days (4-5) of newborn, and 0-3 with a few premie if you are measuring small - but save some cash to get extra of whatever size you need when you get there.. you might also find friends/family buy lots of newborn/0-3 but then nothing else...

Good luck!!

Here's the thing: if you find you haven't bought enough, you can always buy more 😁

completely depends. Dd1 was constantly sick so had so much clothing than when I had dtds there was enough for both of them as dd1 would wear 4 outfits in 12 hours easily (she had bad reflux) whereas twins wore one outfit in the day and then clean at night (mostly).
