I strongly disagree on the Scottish Government approach to gender recognition, but imo it is only one policy in a much bigger picture.

Of course some with disagree with the much bigger picture too, but that is politics.

I think we are stuck with SNP until Labour shapes up (as few in Scotland will vote Tory) - Just hope that Kier Starmer drags a few rabbits out if the hat before the next election. And that has a knock on effect in Scotland.

Well something's got to give.

She is pro-self ID until she isn't.

Either any man can be a woman or they can't.

The fact that she thinks that rapists are an exception makes no sense whatsoever.

If she is so muddled in her thinking on that issue, even when it harms women and children, how can she be trusted with anything else?

Always disliked her. She stood back when extremist "cybernats" abused and threatened women online . She knew fine well what was going on and she knows fine well what is going on now. No friend of women or child.Damn her to hell.

And despite studying law, her government couldn't oversee the preparation of a sensible piece of legislation.

I was concerned about the optics of Sunak reviewing the grr bill but thankfully that and the Isla Bryson case has highlighted how batshit crazy the Scottish Government actually is.

Whenever I see Sturgeon talking, I think Thomas Jefferson wasn't always right when he said the people get the government they deserve.....because the women of Scotland outclass Sturgeon by fifty thousand miles on a daily basis.

And despite being ignored, slandered, lied to, threatened and humiliated, they still stand up for other women and will not give in.

I’m afraid that we do get the government we deserve. For me, the most depressing aspect of the SNP regime is the devastation wrought on the Scottish education system. However, the Scots don’t seem to care or value education and keep voting for the SNP…..

I think the fact that Westminster blocked the GRR will have reduced support for independence. They couldn't do that if Scotland was separate.

It is worth remembering that Greens, Lib Dems & Labour all voted for it. (Labour whipped) and as I understand it UK Labour have self ID as a policy too.

It's essential to clarify the law so that single sex means biological sex (not biological plus "legal" sex which in Sturgeon's Scotland means women plus men who changed their name 😩) - please look here

I just can’t understand why she chose this hill to die on. I do think it’s funny watching her squirm trying to defend her indefensible position though.

In the past she's 'forgotten' important meetings she's had, to me she's either a liar or incompetent.

Whilst the SNP have most seats the majority of Scotland voted for other parties as the around 40 percent of vote the SNP has in Scottish elections so a lot of mandates she claims aren't true as Most people didn't vote for the SNP.
