To try and feel healthier in a week?

Semi light hearted and posting for traffic.

Not interested in crash diets or anything like that.

Have a flight to New York a week tomorrow and want to feel my best. I feel bloated, dehydrated and meh at the moment.

I'm thinking upping my water intake, going for more walks, increasing my veg intake, reducing sodium and adding a daily magnesium tablet.

Any other sensible tips welcomed please 😀not for weight loss, more for feeling less bloated and nourished, and feel good for the flight and I am overweight and get a bit anxious

All your suggestions sounds good, id just add upping your fibre intake by adding 25 g ground flax seed to your diet daily. I mix it with water and drink it daily. Looks like pond water (you can probably add it other ways this is just the easiest way for me) but my tummy bloating is now zero. Start at 10 g and increase until you get to 25 g, I wish I’d started this years ago. Also and v important for flight, wear flight socks. Get a good, v tight pair to avoid ankle and leg swelling. Enjoy your flight !

No alcohol
Take iron/spatone and vitamin D. Loads of people are low and don't realise.

No alcohol, exercise in fresh air, some fruit, porridge or other fibre...

don't drink on the plane (well maybe one) and drink lots of water on the plane. I only realised what a difference this made when I flew on a couple of dry airlines - it really does.

Walk around the plane, wear flight socks as above. Do leg exercises while sitting down.

Yup, iron, vitamin D, all the antioxidants.
Drink lots of water.
1000 steps every waking hour.
8 hours sleep eat night.
Eat light but frequently.
Do not allow yourself to get dehydrated: no alcohol and as little caffeine as you can cope with.

Now just need to follow my own advice!
