Bloody respiratory illnesses this year

A month after catching the worst flu-like respiratory illness I think I’ve ever had I’ve now come down with its evil twin. The CEASELESS coughing. It’s driving me up the wall. And I just feel so so bad again. What the heck is it with these supersized illnesses this year?? They just seem to go on forever as well. Whereas normally I’d be able to function with what I’d consider to be a cold this year they’ve flawed me. I just can’t stop coughing, I’ve coughed so much I’ve put my back out & nothing medicine-wise is touching the sides. Tested for Covid, it’s not that.

sick of it.

I was ill from the Monday before Christmas until the middle of last week with something very similar. I really hope I don’t get another virus like it ☹️ Poor you

I hear you! Brew

There has been quite a bit about it - the reason the coughs are going on so long is repeat infections - it feels like one long one but is potentially just a succession!

You are not alone, has been one thing after another here too.

I had one the other week with instant coughing. Broncho stop syrup and pastilles helped, but I basically didn’t sleep for 2 nights. You have my sympathy

It's so draining. I was ill for about 4 weeks around christmas. Last night I was up all night with my youngest cough cough coughing.

Yes as others have said it’s the relentless coughing. Horrid
