To be so confused about this hospital referral?

Re-posting as the original thread got taken down due to my rubbish “cover up identifying details” fail 🤦‍♀️ so any earlier replies are now lost too.
I’ve been referred to my local hospital for a surgical opinion on my knee, and initially the referral came through on the NHS app as per the picture - an admin appointment, not for patient attendance, with another note at the bottom marked as important, telling me not to attend. So I didn’t attend.
Now the date on the admin referral has passed and there’s nothing showing in the app either, it just says “no referrals”. I’ve not heard anything by post, phone or email either.
Does this mean my referral has been rejected by the consultant or is this normal?

I would probably just call and ask. You can call the hospital on their generic switchboard number and ask to be put through to the relevant department or the secretary for the consultant if you have the name of this person. They'll also be able to tell you whether you have any current booked appointments.

If it's been rejected then they'll notify your GP but I imagine it's either in error or you are on a waiting list and will be notified at some point when appointments become available (I'd still call to check though, and make sure you are at least on a clinic list).
