How long to receive a mortgage offer ?

Hi

I applied for my first ever mortgage a week ago. The valuation was weds and they had one query about my income which is now rectified (as of yesterday).

I’m slightly nervous and the broker on my last email just said ‘soon’.

I’ve a 53% deposit, a good credit score and the mtg amount is 1.25x my income but I am nervous about it and would like to know or be put out of my misery soon 😂

We’re moving at the moment. Ours took two weeks to come through. Our buyers took 8 weeks! It was just in a back log, don’t fret.

Thanks! I keep convincing myself it’ll be rejected (for no real reason - the broker isn’t concerned) and I don’t enjoy waiting 😆

It’s a stressful time and anxiety runs amok. I’m sure all is fine.
