How often do you see your friends?

Mid 30s, busy life balancing work, partner and three step kids. Sometimes it can feel a challenge to balance everything and keep friendships going! How often does everyone manage to see friends?

At least twice a week. Coffee one evening mid week and then lunch once at the weekend which takes all afternoon. Sometimes lunch both weekend days. Or a bike ride and coffee the other day. No kids in the friendship group which probably helps.

It goes in fits and starts, some months I meet up with various friends every week (drinks, coffee, walks) and others I end up out with DH. We're all busy with different friendship groups to fit in but I have certain friends that I make an effort to see if I know it's been a couple of weeks since we last met up.

One of my 'things' for this year is to plan meet ups with friends that have drifted recently - from school mates from 30 years ago and old work friends from a year ago. So far, so good!

My best friend I see about once a month. I have another very close friend who lives just down the road and I see her about once a month also.

Everyone else - maybe 4 times a year?

Some who live a distance away once a year or less than that, but would still consider "close".

I usually meet up after work for a coffee with friends most days

At least twice a week, poss three times. Week night cinema, weekend walk, possibly a coffee date too. I work long hours, but I’m someone who thrives on social contact, and my DC are teens so I don’t need to tag team w DH anymore.

The same friends or different ones? Where do you have the coffee? (Thinking of the recent thread complaining that coffee shops close early).

I see about three separate friends a week. About a year ago I posted on here about not having enough friends.
