Hello wise mumsnetters
I am posting here for traffic sorry!
I am applying for my first Irish adult passport and have everything together to send but unsure how best to post to the PO Box address in Dublin from England.
It needs to be registered/tracked but when I I looking at couriers they are saying they won't send my letter to a PO Box address. So please can someone help?! How did you successfully send your supporting documents to the PO Box address in Dublin from the UK. I know Royal mail is having problems with their international post at present but once they are sorted will it be safe to send via them and their tracked international service? I can't find any info online if they send to po box addresses, I understand tracked and signed they do not! Thanks for reading and appreciate your advice!

Hiya,

I had queries about renewing my passport and the issues with Royal mail strikes. I phoned my local irish embassy and they were very helpful. My issue is slightly different to yours but its worth a try.

hope that helps. Hope you get sorted!

You can't send a signed for delivery to a PO address...because there is no-one to sign for it. That's across the board. What you need is a tracked post, so you need Royal Mail international tracked. There's no reason not to send with RM at the moment

Ahhh brilliant thanks to you both. I was thinking royal mail international tracked probably best bet. Thank you
