Any Facebook experts around? Potential date but not sure what I've found

Asked out by a man I barely know.
Checked his sm to get a feel for what he's like.
His Facebook is set to private but still brings up his updated statuses.
When I clicked on ' posts' there were a few interactions with mutual friends and a few birthday wishes.

Also however there was a post that was basically an invitation to a live cam private group with a sexy video( I didn't open it) and underneath a list of about fifty names, none of which I recognised.

Does this mean , because it was on one of posts on his account,that he was engaging and part of this private group?

Only asking because I would have a problem with that and that's not the type of man I'm interested in having a date with.
Or could it have been a bot or scam?

Sounds like he was just tagged in a spam post.

He's been hacked at some point and the 'bot' has just tagged people in his contacts. He probably doesn't even know it's there as you don't tend to look at your own wall and the people tagged may not have made him aware.

When I pressed 'posts' , this appeared along with interaction with mutual friends and birthday wishes.
I didn't even see his name tagged in it but there was a list of mens names. It was an invitation to a private live cam group so maybe he had previously joined as these names were those of ' new ' men who had joined.

I bet you he was tagged only but didn't delet for whatever reason. Might not even see it.
I had the weirdest spams on FB.
If the rest looks ok, I would take it as innocent

I guess I'm wondering why it would be on his wall as a post when there is so little else.

99.9% don't publicaly share porn while tagging 50 mates. Even if they watch it.
I had messages like that sent from my profile once. Had no idea until I opened messamger to test one person when I saw I apparently sent him some proper weird shite😳

Because the spammer tagging loads of people they don’t even know, that aren’t friends. They need to set it to public. It’s definitely that he’s been tagged in a scam post. He’s probably not even seen it. Just report it to Facebook as spam and enjoy your date.

I’m intrigued as to how you know that someone you barely know watches porn.

I’m not sure about the Facebook thing but different groups have different privacy settings. A private group (and I’d expect a “dodgy” group to be private) doesn’t show on your feed. So could well be spam.

I know about porn through a conversation we all had in a group.
