Yes, this happened to me when I had a sinus infection. It was very thick though and I had to pull gently to get it all out. The relief in my sinuses as it emerged was something I’ll never forget!

I was just about to ask how the hell you didn't feel a pound coin up your nose ??? Jokes aside, just snot.

I was in the car with my DG driving when it happened; I’d been blowing out a river of yellow snot for about half an hour and then suddenly this “caterpillar” thing started to come out.

I really wanted DH to look at it and he wouldn’t because he was driving, and I was quite cross with him as I - rightly or wrongly - felt rather proud!

Like many others I too thought how lucky you are to be sneezing pound coins.
