Would you go to Copenhagen with a 1 year old?

I have a 6 month old.
We really want to book a holiday but not sure where. I know it won't be the same with a baby as it's something we've never done before.
I'd love to go to Copenhagen.
Would you go there with a baby?
Baby is 6 months old so we wouldn't be going yet. It might be when the baby is around 9-12 months.

Yeah you can take babies anywhere. Why not now? 6 months is easier than 12 months

I can’t see why not. It’s an easy city to get around with a pushchair and on public transport and has a broad range of cafes and restaurants many of which will be baby friendly. Beyond that, babies don’t really care where they are so if there’s stuff you want to see in Copenhagen it’s as good a choice for a holiday with a baby as any.

Babies usually travel very easily, better now than when they're toddler in and screeching to get out of the pram. Also easier when they're smaller as they will usually sleep in the pram over dinner.

We had many lovely European holidays with our first born when she was under 18m.

Also, the younger the baby the more helpful the airport staff. They don't want to know when they're snotty toddlers but very helpful when they're 10 week old babes.

Just booked Copenhagen to take my DS when he turns one in a few months! Did you end up going @whitewardrobes1 ? :)

Yes and we did! It was absolutely great for kids and extremely child friendly. The science centre and museum were great for kids and there is an amazing dinosaur themed soft play!

Yes, Copenhagen is extremely child friendly (I used to live there). It's one of the best cities for children (do your research and you'll find laods of amazing parks, play centers, museums etc etc).

I went to Denmark a couple of times with babies /toddlers and found it fab. Really family friendly.

I know this is a couple of months ago but incase you’re still wondering. Absolutely!

I live in CPH and it’s incredibly child friendly, largely accessible (Babyzen yoyos and cobbles do not go together well 😂) and there’s a TON of stuff to do. It’s great!

@IHopeYouStepOnALegPiece oh dear we have hired a YoYo to take! 🤣

are there any must-see places everyone would recommend? I’m so excited to celebrate his first bday there!
