Lash growth serum for 13yo?

Dd cut her all her eyelashes off! She really regrets it. She says she tried tk cut off one single eye lash which was bothering her, it ended up uneven, she tried to even it out and the rest is history.

My question is if there are any SAFE eye lash growth serums that high she could feasibly use? I know revitalash and similar products are definitely not appropriate for use by for example pregnant women so those would definitely be out, but if you have any suggestions I’d be so appreciative…!!

Just Chuck some of these on. No band so you can't see them and they are so natural you probably won't even see them. Trim them to her eye size so there not too big.

I always put false lashes UNDER my lashes, as they become even more camouflaged and last a bit longer. Use something like this until they grow back.

I think the natural lash cycle is 4-6 weeks. So it’s not long she will notice a difference in a week. I think these growth serums are a bit of a scam it stops the natural cycle so they last longer so look fuller. The longer ones not falling out as quick just makes seem like there is more growth. Save your money. It’s better she eats more fruit and veg to aid her body in doing what it need to. False eyelashes also generally are glued to the lashes not the skin. So that won’t really help. Just keep reassuring her. I really doubt she has pulled them all just fine ones left which will grow out in no time.

She definitely needs to
keep scissors away from her face in the future! Couldn’t agree more. I didn’t even consider that this could be inspired by social media (not that she has TikTok), surely there can’t be a trend to make your eye lashes shorter?!?

And yes, serums work if they contain prostaglandins- I know this because my mother had glaucoma and her medication (eye drops) obviously contained this. Her eyelashes on that eye grew ridiculously long! This kind of product is obviously unsafe for teens. I suspect the ones that don’t contain prostaglandins probably don’t really work, and dd will have to learn from her mistake.

Apparently revitalash was based on the observation that glaucoma
meds promote eyelash growth.

And as a side note, my mother’s light blue eyes turned brown from the eye drops. This is listed as a potential side effect of revitalash, which is one of the reasons I wouldn’t use it myself
