Chest pain - need to be worried?

This has happened this evening and I'm not sure what it was but just wondering if this would worry anyone.

I was stood in the kitchen talking to DH when suddenly my chest right in the centre went all tight and I felt extremely dizzy and sick. I had to sit down and it lasted about 10 minutes with the pain coming in spasms before I started to feel normal. However afterwards I was extremely breathless for a good while (and still am a little), I feel like someone's punched me in the middle of my chest, just sore now if that makes sense?

For info, I'm 28 and no known chest issues.

When I say breathless, I felt like I'd been running and was out of breath even though I'd not done anything.

Please seek medical advice, OP.

Ring 111. MN is not the place for this.

Had you eaten or drunk anything ?

I had a virus a few years ago and my onset was just like this. It definitely needs checking out. My heart rate was dropping really low and then spiking very high too. I've had a multitude of cardiac tests and assessments and, apart from my fitness being wiped and clear signs of something being weird, they don't know what's up. Anyway, yes, I'd call 111. Do you have a blood pressure cuff, thermometer, oximeter etc? Keep an eye on your heart rate if you feel weird and see if that seems normal. Could it be low blood sugar? It could be any number of things - some serious and some not serious - best to get checked.
