Started work for the NHS Sept 2013 - so 10 yrs service in Sept 2023
AL runs from April for 1 year, so when my AL is calculated on 1st April is it worked on 9 yrs service or 10?

You should get a pro-rata amount added on in Sept 23

Hohofortherobbers · 13/01/2023 14:34

As pp, you'll get pro rata amount from Sept 23. So 10 days divided by 7 (number of months Sept to March ). Then from next April the full 10 days

Hohofortherobbers · 13/01/2023 14:36

Sorry calculation will be 10 days divided by 12 (months in a Yr) x 7 (months between Sept snd March) =5.8 extra days entitlement from Sept 23 to be used before end of march 24

Great, thank you for that.
