To ask about eyelash extensions??

Sorry to ask here but I'm wondering if anyone has had these and would you recommend? I've booked to have them done at a salon this weekend - I don't know anything about it so I'm having the classic ones (as opposed to "hybrid"?!). Anyway... can anyone who has them please tell me -

1. Is it worth the money?
2. Do they need a lot of upkeep?
3. The difference between classic and hybrid?
4. Do you still wear mascara with them?!

I loved the way they looked, and how quick it was to be made up, without having to faff around with mascara.

I hated - the time it took for infill appointments, plus I found it uncomfortable bordering on painful. The cost of the upkeep. Not being able to use certain products - anything oily interferes with the glue. How they would look just before an infill, I’m a side sleeper and that side always got mushed no matter how thoroughly I combed them. The feeling of them brushing against my glasses.

I eventually gave up on them and my lashes have never been the same, and I had really quite nice lashes before.

Now I just use a good set of falsies for special occasions.
