To want to move house so ‘soon’?

We’ll have been in our house 6 years this year but I am starting to get feelings that I would like to move. I’m falling out of love with this house for numerous reasons. I feel a bit cheated though as we’ve done a lot of extensive work to our home during that time- is it too ‘soon’ to move? Especially with house prices so high atm. How long did you stay in your first home for? *To add I’ve not even mentioned these thoughts outloud to anyone but I’m just feeling quite often now how I’d like to move if finances allowed us..

Stayed in my first house for 2 years, my second place for 3 years, and have been in my third house for 4 years and am moving in a month to my fifth house.

First house we stayed 6 years, second we stayed 8 years. Have been in third house for 2 and a half years, I think we are likely to stay here long term.
