I'm off work for the week to deal with builders. They are working upstairs and I'm downstairs.
I was watching a TV programme with not much swearing and no violence or sex... until... the builders come downstairs and the plot twists and the two lead characters start getting "intimate" with the builders stood right next to me. I turned the TV off but that somehow made it worse!
I don't know if it was worse than the time I was watching something when strippers randomly came on just as my MIL started banging on the window because she'd popped by. There was no way she didn't see me watching strippers.
