To be fed up of being in the house?

Having a bit of a pity party really.

Ive had what I think is tendinitis since Tuesday down the side of my left foot. I can’t be sure it’s that because I haven’t been able to get an appointment at the GP, and 111 just tells me to contact my GP.

So anyway I can barely walk. It does seem to have eased very slightly but I still can’t walk very far without it being excruciating, and all the online advice is to RICE, so I spent all of yesterday icing and elevating my foot and now I am bored shitless and feel frustrated and lethargic.

I live alone and normally on weekends I see friends, go on walks and runs, or drive to a countryside cafe to relax and read. I can still drive without pain, although I do feel a grinding in the bottom of my foot if I try, so I’m worried I’ll be making things worse if I do try to drive.

What can I do today? I really cannot bear the idea of lying on the sofa for another full day.

WIBU to drive to the cafe?

Yeah enjoy the cafe , OP . I'm presume it's nearby.

If you make it worse, you’ll be indoors resting for even longer so it would be a bit short-sighted and silly, wouldn’t it?
