To be tempted to buy GHB?

Goady thread title bare with me. GHB is the absolute best treatment for my condition , the NHS won't fund it for me and most others. Pharmaceutical companies price GHB at nearly £400 a bottle and those with my condition might need up to 3 bottles per month. Illegal GHB is around £100 for a months worth.

I wouldn't because of the health risks and purity but I can see why someone might be tempted . I take prescribed stimulants almost everyday and it doesn't fix the problem of having terrible sleep quality and not having restorative sleep. GHB comes from alloy cleaner so pharmaceutical companies have made so much money off something that was previously legal and from a cleaning product. I have no idea when the drug I need will become more affordable and it's the same situation for 1000s of us in the UK.

Why wouldn't you?

Who cares whether it's illegal? I'd be far more concerned about the quality of the product

So sorry this is the way you need to get it Flowers

I'm really nosy though, what condition is it?

I get a medication through Gumtree that my doctors won't prescribe - it's prescribed to someone else and they sell it

Any chance you can learn to manufacture your own?

YABU for your comment about pharma companies. You can’t just take a cleaning product and package it up as a medicine. Part of the challenge with making prescription drugs is clinical research and trials to ensure that every single dose is the same and as safe for anyone taking it for its licensed use. That’s why it takes time and vast amounts of money.

Jazz pharma has hiked the price up loads only 1 percent of narcoleptics have access to the drug that would improve their quality of life and fix the underlying problem.
