I haven’t fallen into a friendship with someone that I do not like.
no drip feed I just feel bad to not answer her messages as she had no other friends. But now she’s pushing to meet up daily

help!

Continue feeling bad and doing what you are doing or... tell her you aren't looking for friends/haven't the time so you wont be available..Done. You'll forget about her and move on.

You’re not under any obligation to meet her and her social arrangements are not your responsibility. As already suggested, tell her you are busy / not available for meeting up and move on.

Going through this with an ex colleague.

we didn’t speak that much & never spent lunch together.

She left for a new job then stopped speaking to me. She then got another new job a few months later & randomly invited me to her leaving do and all these group chats. She now constantly messages me and asks me personal questions and refuses to let me leave these group chats (just adds me back in!)

I just ignore her messages now because I have already been clear that I need a bit of space but she keeps messaging me. I know if I reply, it will just start a barrage of questions and life is too short
