To ask where 13 year old can have party tea near Guildford Spectrum?

Desperate plea...party planning is driving me up the wall! Does anyone know Guildford well and can tell me of a suitable place to take 13 year olds to for some food after going ice skating at Guildford Spectrum. Probably about 12 of them. I've looked at the in house party food options but looking for somewhere like Pizza Express/Wagsmamas etc. Somewhere that is easy and safe to walk to. Without knowing the road network and safe pedestrian areas it's proving tricky! Thanks so much

Only possible place walking distance from there is the beefeater down the road. Otherwise it’s back into town

Hi, Pizza Express is about a 20-minute walk away from the Spectrum - the walk is along a straight road, so fairly straightforward once you leave the Spectrum complex. Wagamama’s is a bit further (about 30 mins’ walk), but still quite central.

Doesnt the park and ride run from Spectrum car park? So after Ice Skating you can jump on the free bus into town?

I personally wouldn't want to walk 12 teenagers 30 minutes to a restaurant. There are a couple of casual places to eat inside the Spectrum too.

Sorry just checked and they've suspended park and ride from Spectrum starting tomorrow! 🙄

There isn't anywhere near the Spectrum apart from the Beefeater - not an obvious choice for a party tea. I'd walk to Pizza Express or Zizzi. Only a 15 min walk.

If you can get into town, House of Fraser has a beautiful tea room at the of the building

My daughter and her mates love the burrito loco inside the spectrum

the main town centre is not very far away, but it would involve walking through the park which could be muddy. Once you get there, there is pizza express and zizzi. If you then continue on down the high street there’s loads, Nando’s, five guys etc.

Thank you all so much. I knew you'd be able to help! We might investigate Burrito Loco at the spectrum. Otherwise, Pizza Express or Zizzi sound doable. Thanks again!

Absolutely Tea Terrace would be the best but it’s surprisingly pricey when I took DCs a couple of weeks ago (but where isn’t, I guess).
