What should I wear at night. Was in Fuerteventura same time last year and it was cardigan weather at night but never been to Lanzarote. Thoughts please? Jeans and a top?

Doubt Lanzarote will be much different from Fuerteventura temperature wise. However where in Lanzarote are you going as it's pretty windy in Costa Teguise which can make it feel much cooler.

Badgirlriri · 02/01/2023 17:26

How the bloody hell would we know. Check the weather app for the temperature?

Yeah, i think this is an instance where the internet is a better guide than someone’s anecdotal guess.

Sure, let me google this for you...............

Or, if you want my answer, wear a mini skirt and boob tube and try to pull a bar man. Well, you asked!

courgettigreensadwater · 02/01/2023 17:59

You can see one island from the other so guessing it will be similar Hmm

Have a great time whatever you’re wearing 🤣

Roselilly36 · 02/01/2023 18:04

I love Lanzarote, you will have a fab time, we have only ever been in winter, Dec or Feb half term. Always had great weather, we aren’t out late, t shirts and shorts in the day, light jacket in the evenings. Enjoy.

healthadvice123 · 02/01/2023 18:06

Would imagine the same , was in feurteventura in june and needed a cardi as this year wasn't great weather then
Went to tenerife in dec and some nights nothing other nights a cardigan

Lapland123 · 02/01/2023 18:10

just like Fuerteventura, a light jacket or a cardigan in evening time. Have a wonderful time- so jealous!
enjoy the lovely sunshine while we are all in grey January misery!!

Samsonsmum · 02/01/2023 18:11

T shirts and shorts day and light cardi/fleece on evenings. Have a great holiday. Wish I was going but not until Feb for me😭

Quartz2208 · 02/01/2023 18:14

I would pack one as the weather can vary from one year to the next - we go to the same place every Christmas and the weather varies!

Berrystraw · 02/01/2023 18:21

I was there last week and just pulled on a light cardie in the eves even when sat outside

People are dicks.

It depends where you are going to in Lanzarote. We go to Costa Teguise and it can be much windier than the other resorts. I tend to wear jeans, top and cardigan, or dress and cardigan in the evenings. It can get a bit nippy, especially in the winter months.

The weather forecast looks positive for the next fortnight, though.

kilos · 02/01/2023 19:34

I went to Lanzarote a couple of weeks ago, was warm enough for shorts and T-shirt in the day then a cardigan but still shorts in the evening.
One of the days it was 26c which was lovely!

Thanks so much nice replies. We are going to Costa Taguise - I have a big operation not long after I come back so will be out of action for a while.

Costa Teguise is nice, been there a few times, personally Puerto Del Carmen is our favourite resort. Lanzarote is a small island, so you can easily visit PDC & playa Blanca, the marina at Puerto Calero is nice too, not a lot there, but nice to go for lunch, walk around. If you are hiring a car, visit the cactus garden, timanfaya is a must, La Geria and all the vineyards (not like you would imagine a vineyard. The square at CT is lovely, some nice restaurants they also holds markets a couple of times a week, the night one for crafts was lovely bought a few things. Not been to CT in a while though. Have a lovely holiday & good luck for your op.

We love Costa Teguise. We stay on Playa Bastian which is lovely. I hope you have a great time.

There's a page on Facebook called Costa Teguise, Lanzarote and there's loads of great tips and recommendations for places to eat/things to see.

My personal favourite is the crepe and waffle house 😍

We also stay in CT and as others have said there's lots of lovely restaurants and bars round the main square. CT is nice and relaxed so you'll be well rested ahead of your op.

Have a great time. We're there in March and the count down is on!!
