Hey everyone,

Just a quick question, can the Revlon Hair Dryer Brush be used as a hair dryer too? Or is it more of a styler to use once hair is mostly dry?

Do you mean the Revlon One-Step? I have one of these and it dries your hair as it styles it . . . so, both! But I wouldn't class it as a hairdryer because it doesn't blow hot air beyond the bristles, so you have to use it as a styler.

Also I use it from fully wet hair so I don't need to dry my hair with a hairdryer first. Some people do, though, I think.

My hair needs to be mostly dry before I use it.

Nope it's really damaging to use it on wet hair it will break it over time needs to be 80% dry first . Love mine

I rough dry first.

It depends on the thickness of your hair. Mine is medium thickness and I let it air dry for 15/20 mins and then use it on sections and don't need a hairdryer at all.

I let mine dry naturally and when it's still a tiny bit damp I use it. Like PPs have said, your hair will be very fragile when wet, and the tension the One Step uses will be very damaging.

Love mine. Its great for a smooth finish. I have fine hair but a fair bit of hair but I wouldn't advise using it to dry hair from wet, wet. Let it air dry or else quick swizz with a normal hairdryer and then style until dry. Would depend.on condition of hair too likely.

I used it as a hair dryer for a long time before I realised you weren't meant to do that because it's bad for your hair 😳 I do have breakage on the lower part of my hair which is where I tended to style it more so I've switched to doing most of the drying with my hair dryer and then finishing off with the one step.

I don't get as good results that way but it's much better than damaging my hair!
