Generally you use triple sec because it's cheaper but no reason you can't use cointreau or any other orange liqueur like grand mariner.

My margaritas are made with two measures of tequila, one measure orange liqueur and lime and sugar syrup to taste.

I've done a version where I swapped the tequila for blackberry gin which makes them a bit softer. During lockdown I only had blackberry gin and triple sec so I experimented and was pleasantly surprised with the results.

I’ve been going to bed every night this week with Baileys in hot chocolate. It’s also lovely in chocolate milk with ice.

I love tia Maria, amaretto and baileys in coffee, baileys in hot chocolate. Although I tried disaronno velvet this year which is amazing!
