Growing up my parents both listened to the same music, mostly 80's stuff.
I guess there's more variety now? I personally listen to a bit of everything mainly rock music, a bit of pop, some 80's/90s
Generally like all kinds.

My partner listens to Grime and country music 😳 both of which are literally my idea of hell. He's always happy to listen to my music. I feel like such a bitch but I just cannot stand his music 😂 if he tries to put it on I just cringe.

You're allowed to have different tastes. He can listen with headphones; or you can.

Oh God, I’d hate it if DH and I had wildly divergent music tastes - sympathy OP!

I like both of yours preferred genres equally. Its fine to have different tastes just remember neither of you are more right or wrong than the other.
