I'm on season 7 . After initially being a hateful little turd I'm actually starting to really like him .....

At Elizabeth and marks wedding he was sincerely sweet in what he said to her

And he loves his dog .

I think his part was written very well.

There is an episode where he has just given Peter Benton a telling off for needing time with his son. As Benton walks away Rhys is in his arms and is looking over his dad's shoulder and Romano signs, "Take care of your dad".

I saw that one ! There are just glimmers of humanity sometimes that I warmed to

Also when Lucy goes to his house late at night because she has got some equipment (possibly a cardia assist AKA artificial heart) and he tells her off and then does the surgery and gets her to scrub in.

Awww and the one where Lucy died .....he threw the trolley across the room and Elizabeth had to tell him to stop because she'd gone , that one was so sad . I liked him then too .
