Shamelessly posting for traffic.
Firstly I would like to know if they are worth the money. Want something a bit luxurious that will last for a few years? Bath is my current luxury so want something to lounge around in after a long one.

Secondly I am wondering which size I would need. Am a 12-14 and tall, with a pregnancy bump to accommodate?

Thank you.

No advice on the robe I’m afraid but they look lovely but definitely out of my budget for a bathrobe

If it was me I’d get something on the cheaper side so as to accommodate baby bump and then treat myself to the White Company one after baby is here. However if you can afford it why not just go for it!!

Love the White Company so I don’t doubt its quality. Congrats by the way

I have one that I ostensibly bought DH about 10 years ago but I borrowed it and he never got it back. It's still going strong. Well worth the money IMO.

YouScumbagYouMaggotHeresKevinTheCarrot · 27/12/2022 19:07

I'm thinking I only want to get one as I'm quite far along but was thinking could use it for skin to skin so maybe just go for a roomy fit.

@THisbackwithavengeance what is the size and fit like for you compared to your husband? Just trying to work out if a large would swamp me or be about right with extra give.

Dear but worth it. Still looks grand quite a few years on.

I bought mine in the last bit of the sale so it was about half price.

astralpiano · 27/12/2022 19:13

Buy it for your non-pregnant size. Its quite roomy.

Zone2NorthLondon · 27/12/2022 19:14

I have one and it’s super
wash well and comes up fluffy

Thanks, not sure what my non pregnant size would be as they go by chest size. I'm a 12-14 normally. Do you know which would be best for that?

I've got one and I absolutely love it, very snuggly

iknowwheretheothersockgoes · 27/12/2022 19:29

Ooh! I have one. I loved it at first. I wish I hadn't washed and tumble dried it as much as I have. It's looking a bit weathered and it's only a year old. So that would be my advice, be sparing on the washing and don't tumble dry it!

Cinnamonandcoal · 27/12/2022 19:30

I have had one for years, going strong. Very cozy.

Do you find it's fluffy enough without tumble drying though? I always cupboard dry so I don't know if that would be better.

No, would make me think of the KKK.

Lol not my aim, but I guess I can get a darker one if it was a concern.

Why's that?

YouScumbagYouMaggotHeresKevinTheCarrot · 27/12/2022 20:21

Dithering between a large or a medium here. I'm guessing that I might be more medium because of the unisex thing...

cantba · 27/12/2022 20:39

Mine looks a bit scrappy. I've def washed and tumbled it too much.

cantba · 27/12/2022 20:39

Medium will be fine on you.

Buffypaws · 27/12/2022 20:42

I got a medium. Today actually 😂 Am more like a 14/16 these days with massive tits and gut. Medium will be fine. Im noting advice above re. Care and will avoid extreme laundering.

Thank you. It's in the shopping cart. Dithering and trying to find a discount code haha 😂

I’m a 12, average height and wear my DH’s one which is XL. It’s large on me but not stupidly so. I like the coziness of it being oversized. I think I’d go for a ‘large’ if I were you especially if you’re quite tall.

I do find it needs tumble drying to get it back to being fluffy/full again.

Thank you, I really think I'm on the cusp so it's difficult to make a decision. I guess if I tumble.dry it occasionally I should factor in shrinkage anyway...

Just to be annoying, I have a 'large' one and love it, and I'm 5 foot and a size 6-8, but don't like things that feel tight. I have to fold the cuffs back, but it is otherwise good.
