Do it!

MolliciousIntent · 25/12/2022 05:43

As long as you don't then post it all over social media, I'd say you're golden.

InTheFourthAtMalloryTowers · 25/12/2022 05:44

Do it - take photos to show her when she is 18 and treasure the memory. We did slideshows for our kids 18th birthdays and and the dressed as elves photos and Christmas photos were their favorites.

It will never be her first Christmas again ❤️

Starlightstarbright1 · 25/12/2022 05:47

Absolutely.. Enjoy it. Don't overthink it

DD at 9 months old wore an elf onsie for her first Christmas, there's a photo of her in it on the landing. It was a v cute outfit!

CookieMoolier · 25/12/2022 06:01

Omg definitely! 🤣 How cute!

Mummyoflittledragon · 25/12/2022 06:07

Of course. I didn’t think to do this with dd. My dogs otoh have a Santa and Rudolph outfit. Enjoy baby cuddles and your first Christmas together. 😍

But if it's not on social media did it really happen?

Only joking. Crack on OP. Mine have been elves, santa and reindeer over the years.

CCIH · 25/12/2022 06:14

My 7 month old is gonna be in his Disney santa outfit soon. He was an elf yesterday. Merry 1st Christmas to your dd x

ChessieDarling · 25/12/2022 06:20

Obviously you must. I did for my boys first Christmas last year, he was seven weeks old. He wore it for the grand total of five minutes then threw up all over it. He was a terribly sicky baby 😂

Drywhitefruitycidergin · 25/12/2022 06:43

I personally prefer a Christmas pudding outfit but Elf is a great choice too OP 😀

Ewanismydreamsheep · 25/12/2022 06:45

My 11 month old is going to be a Christmas pudding 😂 the best but about Christmas with babies is dressing them up 😂

GeorgiaGirl52 · 25/12/2022 06:49

My grandson was a late December baby and he came home from the hospital dressed as an elf, with a little elf cap on. It was precious (and we still have pictures to use against him later!)

NorthernChinchilla · 25/12/2022 06:52

One of my team brought her 3 week old to our Xmas lunch dressed as an elf... we all had major cuddles, it was the best bit of the meal!

CCIH · 25/12/2022 07:13

Christmas pudding next year!

Just be mindful of the hat if it has bells on. They might try to eat it.

Have a magical day.
