On the rare occasion I get a massage I always say to focus on feet and ankles otherwise they don't.

I think that sounds pretty usual for a full body, fine for me as I don't really like a foot massage unless part of a pedicure. I would be annoyed if they spent ages on my feet!

They normally ask you what you want to be focused on before the massage. One minute per foot in a full body session is normal, there just isn't enough time to do everything in a session. Be direct and specific next time.

I do have a bit of dry skin on my feet which I should have filed really before goign so maybe that’s why she didn’t want to touch them for long !

They're not psychic so you have to speak up. Full body massage is never exactly proportionate: usually half the time will be spent just on the back, and the abdomen is often left out entirely. Just tell them what you want and they'll do it.
