To be surprised I didn't receive a Xmas card at work

When I was in the front Reception area of work last week, twice someone left expensive chocolates and biscuits as a thank you "for the office staff".

Lovely gestures. Did anyone else come away from work with not even a Xmas card from their line manager, or is it just me?

These days it's more likely to be an email than a card

I haven’t had a Christmas card from a boss for years (multiple jobs) and would be surprised to get one!

I’ve not had one from my manager or any colleagues…. as far as I’m aware none of us did them this year. Now that I think of it, none from any clients either.

mind you, I’ve not given any either this year.
