Panto - dress up or Christmas Jumper?

I love the theatre but haven’t been much with kids. I think we should wear something festive but smart to panto dh thinks we should not be at all smart. He talks about things being thrown over us.…

So AIBU or is he right?

We go every year and it’s a mix of people in smart casual, Xmas jumpers and totally casual. I’d say anything goes! Lots of little girls in sparkly dresses too!

Ime the things that get thrown are sweets in wrappers, so your clothes shouldn't suffer. Wear what you want.

Going on Thurs, we go every year. Stuff doesn’t get thrown at my theatre anyway, it’s not the circus. We get a little dressed up and/or Xmas jumper type affair but anything goes. Enjoy!

We got squirted with a super soaker last time we went.

I'd go very casual, maybe jeans and a Christmas Jumper. I've never heard of things being thrown before!
