Nearly Two Years And No Prosecution - Trump & Jan. 6th

How has this happened? It is approaching the second anniversary of the deadly insurrection at the Capitol.

Trump has faced zero consequences about this. Nothing. We were led to believe that by the 1st anniversary of this terrible event, he would he in jail.

Now we're almost at the 2nd anniversary and Trump is as far from prison as he was on January 6th 2021.

AIBU to say that we'll be in the same position in another year's time. It'll be three years by then and Trump will still be thumbing his nose at the justice system.

Yes, I know. I was just fed up that we're getting to the second anniversary and Trump is still a free man.

Totally agree with you. Its disgraceful. He needs to be charged with his many crimes and brought to justice but the courts need to prove his guilt first. He is a really dangerous man and in my opinion quite deranged

A psychopath. He should be in jail for myriad offences.

It is nuts. But the appointment of a special counsel (for both Jan 6 and re. the stolen classified documents) does strongly suggest he’ll ultimately be charged.

He’ll never be punished for those crimes in the same way a non ex-POTUS would, though.

...............he’ll ultimately be charged.

I do not believe that he will, though.
