Sorry for the misuse of AIBU.

I've sold an item on Vinted and it's telling me the buyer it using InPost 24/7 and has given me a digital label to download. This label is not like the Evri ones - it has no address on it, it's just a QR code. Apparently I need to scan it at my nearest drop off point and put the parcel in a locker. Im so confused as to how it will arrive at someone's address this way?! How does anyone know where it's going if it gets placed in a locker with no label on? Confused

I'm a bit concerned about things not arriving!

And you 100% do not need to attach the label. The whole point of coding inpost as your shipping method is that you don't have access to a printer. Put the blank parcel in the locker.

I have my vinted set to yodel only as I hate inpost as my local one is always full. If you choose a digital label then they print it in the shop for you, I don't have a printer and am on maternity so cant print them there 🤣

It does work. It’s changed my Vinted selling game as there have recently been lockers installed at the corner shop at the end of my street. So easy

How it works in my area is... The wind and rain get in the lockers so they don't open, or you go to get your package only to find it's someone else's

I sent one last week. Put a parcel into the locker no labels whatsoever on it. Scanned the QR code and it got there fine. It did confuse me putting it in with nothing on but I guess the information is linked to the locker location and when it's collected they label it then.

I collected a couple of parcels this way too and they did arrive with labels.

In post add a little sticker to it with a bar code etc once they collect it from the locker. I've collected ones like that and also sent them without anything on, although I always stick something on the front with the number code on the front (below the QR code) as then I don't need my phone out. I haven't used the QR codes for anything aside from Vinted though.

That said, one I did a week or so ago got returned back to my house yesterday after being stuck in Manchester for the week (and my buyer being in Newcastle) so I've ended up losing that sale as the buyer hasn't replied to say that she still wants it so I've just relisted it.
