To be annoyed at MIL babysitting unwell nephew at the same time as DD

MIL is looking after my toddler DD today & overnight. Has been planned for ages. I just phoned to make sure all was okay and she said that she was also minding my nephew (BILs DS) for a few hours this afternoon. Normally this would be fine but he has been really unwell the last few days, there has been lots of messages in the group chat about this.

I know kids get ill and I can’t hide DD from it all the time but WIBU to tell MIL and BIL that I’m upset that they’ve knowingly exposed DD to whatever this nasty bug is so close to Christmas?

Or am I overreacting? DH seems a bit pissed off too and he is usually Mr Chill..

I am itching to do that @LatestUserName despite having been really looking forward to this day out with my DH. He thinks it’s too late now though. And I do fear the backlash. I’m so flipping pissed off that she didn’t say no to him!!
