Mumsnet - help me find this Joe Austen book!!

Name changed as this is fairly outing

When I was little (I'm now in my 40s) I had a hospital stay for a broken bone. My mum stayed in with me and I drove her round the twist because the only story I wanted to be told was "Soapy Bubbles Little Troubles". Over and over again. Soapy Bubbles was part of Joe Austens Magic House series (I even had a Magic House bank account with a piggy bank that was the Magic House), there were lots of these books in the 80s, I had them all.

Fast forward to now, Mum has Parkinson's, early dementia and is currently delirious. I'm off work to care for her at home in the hope of some recovery for her for Christmas. I remembered this book and thought I'd see if I could find a copy so I can read it to her. Only I cant find it! I can find other Magic House books on ebay and Amazon, and some are on kindle but not this title - I've seen mumsnet have some good success with this type of thing. Does anyone have it, or can anyone help me track it down? These books sell for almost 3 figures on ebay and I'm willing to pay for a copy, I just need to find one first. I'd be so grateful if any of you can help, not least of all because I've no idea what the story is about 😆

Thank you so much - I didn't even manage to find that. The story rings no bells to me but I cant stop crying, I can use that to read it to her. I know she'll remember it, its probably burned into her brain 😂

I'd still love to have a copy but I'll maybe just need to keep my eye out on ebay!

Its missing the last page - I don't know how it ends!! Absolute cliffhanger, I suspect HG Wells might be involved 😂
