DC has been really run down. Been to GP, he was checked out thoroughly. I think it's just that he keeps getting hit with mild illnesses with no chance to recover before he's knocked again. GP said it's just post lockdowns/social distancing problem, that the immune system is out of practice, which makes sense. They said to continue with healthy diet and fresh air, which he gets, but its several months on and same thing.
So I have some Active Immune which I bought for myself, just vit C, D and Zinc. It says for 12 + but would it be OK to give it to him? He'll be 12 in 6 months.

Assuming he isn't tiny for his age can't see a problem. I'd check what the rda levels are, if they're just the standard 100%-200% you'd be miles from a toxic level.

Vit C and zinc can't be stored in the body anyway so excess is lost in pee.

Vit d can build up to toxic levels but unless they're excessively potent youll be nowhere near.

No problem at all.

Absolutely fine. These things should be measured by weight not age anyway.

Thanks all. Very helpful posts. Will check the box and see what the rda levels are.
Just want him to get back on his feet.
