AIBU to complain about this? Xmas pics

I just got the link to view my DCs pics. They are lovely photos, but I realised they have a visible wet patch on their trousers. This despite me sending a change of outfit. They are wearing the top, but not the bottoms I sent.

I have been thinking about it, and I'm pretty upset. I understand sometimes these things aren't spotted immediately, and they have a lot of kids to change and photograph. But surely the photographer would have seen it? It's very obvious.

Would you say something to the nursery?

If it's anything like school, the photos will have been taken incredibly quickly. Honestly it is quite astounding how fast the photographers get through a class - they don't stop for stained clothes etc. I rush down my line of children sorting out collars etc. I think this is on the nursery, not the photographer, although you could ask the photo company if they could edit it.

Thank you. I did think that was probably the case, missed in the hurry. I have already sent an email to the photog company to ask if they can edit it, fingers crossed.

Contact the photography place and ask if they can photoshop it.

I'm
Sure they can photo shop and edit but if not hey ho what's the worst that could happen??

You could all have a chuckle in years to come as I can guarantee yours won't be the only one.

Mine are grown up now but we have many a photo like it

TrixJax · 09/12/2022 13:58

They take them so quickly. We've had school photos we haven't bothered getting as photo was taken the minute the child's bottom hit the seat and she hadn't had time to smile!
I've got one from school with my hair sticking straight up where I'd obviously adjusted my hairband at last minute. This is all the norm for these mass photoshoots

maddy68 · 09/12/2022 13:59

You will laugh at that in years to come. Don't be too precious about it

I had a snotty nose in my first primary school photo and my mum still complains about the fact that no one wiped my nose before it was taken.

Well I received a picture of my child once and he was looking at the floor! Couldn’t see his face at all. And no they didn’t have any out-takes where he was looking. Just bad luck !

Thanks everyone! I probably will laugh later (and thanks for the bad photo stories 😂). I'm ill today and obviously feeling precious!

I have group pictures from nursery from many years ago, and on every single one of them some child is crying because of scary Santa 😂Also, I can't believe how awfully mum dressed me when I was little 😬

CatSeany · 09/12/2022 14:19

We sent in a nice outfit for my son and they got it wrong and put him in bright yellow leggings with a bright yellow top 🤣

Ilovetocrochet · 09/12/2022 14:28

All the early years photos of me and my siblings show how badly my mum cut our hair - we’ve all got crooked fringes!

Brefugee · 09/12/2022 14:30

my parents' favourite photo of me (out of all the school photos) is the one from Kindergarten where i had the absolute biggest bogey ever in the history of snot, in one of my nostrils. Still has pride of place and i'm in my 60s.
