To be shocked DH doesn’t wash his legs and feet in the shower?

had to use the toilet while DH was in the shower this morning and noticed that he doesn’t actually wash his legs or feet.

I asked him about it and he said he never does, he just lets the water and soap run over them and that washes them … 🤢

A) how did I not know this about him?
and B) is this normal? Do people do this.

I wash every part of my body everyday in the shower.

@somuchtolearnabout are you feeling okay? where did i say it's ok not to wash your hair just because it's inconvenient? Please point me the post where I did that. I would love to see it.

If you pee in the shower I think that helps with the fungal foot issue?

It's not that it's inconvenient, it would ruin my hair. It's very fine, fragile and curly
And also washing and drying it takes a good 2hrs so I would spend every evening doing that
My hair doesn't smell of anything except conditioner or perfume, my feet get sweaty and cracked if I don't soap them

actually as has been said many times cracked skin is from dryness caused by over washing.

You never seen a wash womans hands?

Washing everyday distroys skin as much as hair.

@mam0918 mine is just hard skin. I've had it all my life even when I didn't shower daily, just have to be aware of it. If I keep on top of it by moisturising them daily it's fine, the rest of my skin is soft and not dry
My dads are the same and he only showers twice a week!

For all those with mobility issues… What about using something like this in the shower?

because we dont want to, we dont need to and personally I don't have room for unnessacety plastic bacteria and fugus harboring tat in my miniscule show cubicle.

They look like they would be difficult to put on and keep on. Much easier, safer and more hygienic to let the running water and lather clean one's feet!

@somuchtolearnabout because washing afro hair everyday would be a disaster. I cannot understand why if you're in the shower you'd think - "I think my left arm doesn't need a wash or my right leg seems fine for now". But again this oft comes up and it's always staggering. No wonder people stink on the tube.

If your leg stinks you have a real problem
