Anyone else’s toddler have this horrible phlegmy cough?

DD has had a cough for about 4 days, on and off but much worse at night - she’s coughing almost nonstop, it sounds tickly and phlegmy. Temperature slightly elevated but not high, bit of a runny nose, she’s fine in herself playing/eating/drinking but I just want the coughing to stop 😣 I was up 4 times with her last night and I’m shattered!

Possibly! Think it’s my mums, she has an awful cough. My LO was fine, Monday had nasal flu and Tuesday night cough came on and tonight she is like a furnace. Normally a really strong one but I think she has doubled up and has knocked her

My 10 month old has had this for nearly 3 weeks now, it seemed to ease off last week but is worse again the past couple of days. Like your DD he seems fine in himself other than the cough 🤷

Sorry to break it to you but it’s probably going to hang around for another 2 weeks or so! 4 days coughing isn’t really that much.

Try to get a few early nights to make up for the wakes.

YES! 5 year old sounds like she is coughing her lungs up. Terrible at night. My mum and dd’s dad are pissed off at me for not taking her to the GP but it’s going around and nOt sure they will do anything. It sounds awful though, was bad a week, got better for a few days and back with a vengeance.

Calling GP tomorrow just in case.

Yep. My 4 year old has coughed pretty much non stop since September. She’s had one lot of antibiotics which helped, until she caught the next cold 😭

My 2.5 has had 2 lots of abx and had the cough for 4 and a half weeks now! Dreadful
