This would be madness, right? She’s lovely and she’s arranging for me to meet the person who’ll be covering for her whom I’m sure is also lovely. But surely the risk of her not being there for The Big Day is just too high?!

Madness. If she takes the booking I’d be worried about her professionalism tbh.

GoldenGorilla · 06/12/2022 20:31

Madness. It’s really unprofessional of her even to suggest it tbh.

Why don't you just book the cover dollar? I absolutely wouldn't be booking the original person, and agree that its actually hugely unprofessional of her to accept your booking in that time frame.

@Sleepygrumpyandnothappy Yes I’m thinking the same. I’ve just had a free meet-up with her this evening and am slightly surprised she’s be so keen to waste her time.

DOULA - stupid autocorrect.

Well she would have missed all three of mine. 37 is term.

Doulamooma0 · 02/01/2023 09:03

Wow 🤦🏽‍♀️ I’m a doula and I would’ve never respectfully taken you on. I would’ve referred you onto a fellow doula who could commit to you

What a waste of money
