XanaduKira · 06/12/2022 01:33

Oh no, I loved her in Cheers too. RIP

TinFoilHatty · 06/12/2022 01:34

Oh no, this is sad news. Sad

Kanaloa · 06/12/2022 01:34

That’s so sad. Whenever I think of her I always remember her from a film with Mary-Kate and Ashley - I loved it when I was young then DD was obsessed with it when she was about 6/7. KA was a social worker who looked after one of the girls. I hope she is at peace.

MarshaMelrose · 06/12/2022 01:36

Thats so sad. I loved her. I loved how she was always up for a laugh and took the mickey out of herself. She suffered so much humiliation from the press about her weight but she always came out smiling.
Only 71. Bastard cancer. I'm very sorry. 😪

LydiaBennetsUglyBonnet · 06/12/2022 01:36

I love her in Drop Dead Gorgeous with Kirsten Dunst, she played a villain-type pageant mom and was absolutely magnificent.

I loved her too. RIP Kirsty. She was a great actress and in her interviews I always felt that she was very relatable.

Her family said: "She was surrounded by her closest family and fought with great strength, leaving us with a certainty of her never-ending joy of living and whatever adventures lie ahead," they continued. "As iconic as she was on screen, she was an even more amazing mother and grandmother."

CavalierApproach · 06/12/2022 01:45

Oh that’s sad, that’s too young.

Just seeing her name makes me instantly remember the press being absolutely horrific to her while I was growing up. I hope she did have a good strong circle of family and friends to balance that out.

determinedtomakethiswork · 06/12/2022 01:46

That is so sad.

LydiaBennetsUglyBonnet · 06/12/2022 01:48

Yea she was basically cancelled at one point for having the temerity to put on a bit of weight 🙄

Mummyoflittledragon · 06/12/2022 01:48

marvellousmaple · 06/12/2022 01:57

Shocked! I didn't know she was even that old or was sick. She seemed lovely. How sad.

DutchessOfMuck · 06/12/2022 02:06

Sad and shocked to see this. I loved her in cheers and I can't remember the name of it but she done a movie where she was in an accident and lost the use of her legs. Kirsty was such a lovely looking woman and a great actress RIP 💐

Yes she was the runner up.

username11122 · 06/12/2022 04:36

How sad, I loved her in North and South, the one with Patrick Swayze.

felulageller · 06/12/2022 06:05

Oh no. She seemed so young. Not in her 70s. Look who's talking is one of my favourite films. Their chemistry on screen is incredible.

I loved that she had amazing hair and an attainable (not size zero) look.

RIP

alasangne · 06/12/2022 06:17

Oh! That's sad.

OzziePopPop · 06/12/2022 06:37
