So I thought I would watch a Christmas film whilst wrapping presents. Amazon Prime have ‘your place or mine’ on so thought i would give it a go.
oh my, 2022 and we still think that those in the North have no class or morals or money and yet the Southerns are portrayed as Earls? Wow, just wow

It's just a daft Christmas film, don't think it's going for realism!

TeaAndBrie · 05/12/2022 20:06

Oh I know that, I promise I’m not one of the those that get offended easily. Honestly though this is so cringey!

Do you mean Your Christmas or Mine?

Your place or mine is a different film altogether.

TeaAndBrie · 05/12/2022 20:15

Haha oops 🙊 yes I meant your Christmas or mine!

I agree with you and yet I somehow still enjoyed it 😂

Tbf, I'd forgive Daniel Mays anything, even that accent.

He did rock the Macc Town scarf though 😊

Ah I liked it! I assumed that the places weren't that far away from each other as it didn't seem to take long for them to travel back and forth!

I didn't think of it being a north/south divide, more of a town/rural one.

It's better than the usual formulaic Xmas movies.
