Sam Bankman-Fried & the collapse of FTX, is he doing millions of interviews so he can say he won't get a fair trial anywhere in the US?

Though I'm not even sure there'll ever be a trial since crypto is unregulated and he was in the Bahamas.. Anyone else have any thoughts on this?

Do you listen to Serious Trouble?

The podcast pundit lawyers are having fun talking about SBF.

it's mad isn't it

he also seems to be getting a kinder audience than he should which is disgraceful really

I don't know anything about crypto but his guy is MIT educated and his parents were very educated in compliance I think, so he absolutely knew what he was doing.

It’s funny that the same people who were attracted to crypto because it was unregulated and independent are asking for a bail out because they lost their cash. I don’t condone fraud, but anyone who put huge chunks of money into it without suspecting the grifters would pounce must be naive at best and stupid at worst.

yes, they didn't even have a CFO. Moved to Hong Kong and the Bahamas as the regulations were easier to flout. The hedge fund, run by his ex, borrowed billions of dollars from FTX to pay back loans that got called in when they had invested badly and didn't have the funds themselves. It's a clusterfuck of poor controls and related party transactions!
