Has anyone got any knowledge of relatively inexpensive parking options. I'm heading to the science museum. I went a few weeks ago and it cost a fortune at Great Northern!!.
I dont know the area that well bit dont mind a walk if about 15/20 mins. We are going to here for about 5 hours.
Thank you if you can help.

SIP DUKE STREET (M3 4JL): Just a short stroll to MOSI and the Hilton end of Deansgate, Everyman Cinema, Castlefield Bowl and the Odeon and eateries at Great Northern Warehouse. 4 hours £4, 8 hours £5, 12 hours £7, 24 hours £8.

This is from an MEN article from this year. I don’t think £5 for 8 hours is bad.

Under the archways on great Bridgewater street, only about a 5 min walk to the museum

I know the area well but I don't drive so I don't know where the car park but do remember you cannot drive up and down Oxford Road between Royal collage of music and moss lane ( Whitworth park) anymore only buses and taxis now

Water Street car park is also a 5 minute walk away.

You could park at cholton Street coach station ( ncp ) and hop on a bus , its only about a five min bus ride and there are loads of bus's going from picadilly Gardens going down Oxford Road .

Thank you. We are nearly there so hopefully we'll find something!
