It's a resolution as old as time, but I am going to try and really get into shape in 2023, I am writing an action plan.

I'd also like to have a more consistent bed time and wake up time. I'd really like to start waking up early in the morning at around 6ish!

Looking for inspiration though: what are your news years resolutions going to be?

Lose weight and drink less!
Same every year - some years I achieve it other years I don’t

Setting boundaries and learning to say no.

Setting boundaries and learning to say no.

Yes this is a good one. I have an appalling lack of boundaries, it's borderline embarrassing.

Are you going to use any resources to do some reading about boundaries or just go for it?

I want to lose weight and get in shape. No idea how to achieve it though, as with Long Covid my NHS trust says you shouldn’t exercise beyond 60% of your max heart rate. My heart rate can go up to 120bpm walking up the stairs. Used to be so fit 😢

Oh that is tough, I'm sorry to hear it.

Have you had it for a long time? Wishing you better soon

To tone down the book purchasing, and catch up with what I’ve already bought.
To try a new thing every month. Be it a recipe, a new way to work etc.
To turn the time for my wellbeing into habits.
To stop dressing like a tramp just because I’ve got a dog. You should see me! The muddy wellies I go to work into. The hoodies with mud paws. Awful.

Ah yes -- me too on the bibliophilia / bibliomania front! Its awful. I seem to be hoarding books and not reading them. I am going to take inspiration from you and try and tackle that in 2023.
