Anyone else with a DH who is ridiculous with his daughters (will never say no to them, etc), but not so much with sons?
AIBU to think there's not a lot I can do? How normal is it?

No, I don't, but if I did I would talk to him about it every time.
Not in front of the dc, but I would need to highlight to him how unfair he was being and what messages he was sending to your ds(s)

I would say not normal, or healthy. He sees them differently, so he has a sexist view which is never good.

I dated a man like this. He had three DDs and he never told her no. And he admitted that if he had sons he wouldn’t be as easy on them as they are boys and should be treated differently.

i also have a male friend who is similar with his DD but his DS is own his own cause he’s a boy.
