Aibu to ask you to measure your husband?

Not an aibu but looking for help. Planning to knit my boyfriend some socks for Christmas but need an idea of his heel circumference. So if you've got a husband/boyfriend/anyone around a UK11 please measure them for me. I will be eternally grateful 🙏

DH is an 11. I have just measure his foot (while he looked at me slightly bemused!). His measurements are:
A: 22.5
B: 22
C: 34.5
D: 25.

Will this not only work though if your husbands feet are the same sizes as everyone else’s DH’s feet 🤣

Have you knitted socks before, cos I have and my size 8 normal other measurements in the feet area husbands take me forever.
There are as many stitches in a hand knitted sock as there are in a full long sleeved pullover.

but hand knitted socks are totally wonderful and well worth the effort

DH (size 11-12 depending on make) has heel circumference 35cm exactly.

DS1's is 31.5cm. He's about a 9.5. I appreciate that this is of no help to you, but he didn't want to be left out 🙄😀

I love knitting socks but that can take a bloody age esp if you’re new to knitting or new to knitting in the round on very small needles. I would cut yourself some slack and aim for Valentine’s Day rather than Christmas (unless you have masses of free time!)
