To think if I selected Royal Mail postage it should stay Royal Mail postage

I've had 3 items from different places dispatched with couriers. DHL. EVRI. And they aren't on time. I'd rather they'd used Royal Mail as I selected.

I agree. At least then if I’m not in I can get in from a depot. I’ve been playing parcel collection tag with an in-post courier for over a week!

Given the RM are striking, it's 6 of one, half a dozen of the other.

Yes I understand why they've done it but I don't know why they couldn't have left the royal mail option alone. I would rather have waited for royal mail than spent ages chatting to various couriers trying to track down a parcel who's tracking hasn't updated

They're trying to make sure you get your packages. Most people would rather their stuff arrived on time rather than wait an unknown period until Royal Mail next delivers.

But I'll get it when they next deliver. I can wait for the reliability.

No you won't. There are small businesses on etsy who posted out weeks ago with royal mail and the parcels still haven't got there. They are frantic because etsy is refunding these customers even though the sellers have proof of postage. The poor sellers are out of pocket and being sanctioned by etsy.

What a nightmare.
