Currently listening to the audio book after it was recommended to me on here.
Essentially the premise seems to be that you don't fight against your anxiety. You accept and allow it, trying to roll with the sensations rather than battling or resisting them. It makes sense but I'm not sure how it would work in practice for someone like me who has quite severe physical panic attacks. The breathing, heart racing and shakes I could deal with as rationally I know they are unpleasant but won't hurt me. However the nausea and stomach issues are harder to accept and just 'flow with' as I quite often need to dash to the loo!!!
I wonder if anyone else has tried this approach and if it worked for you? I want to be hopeful!
