Daughter's friend smelling of weed

Looking for opinions on this one. DD (9) has a nice little friend who's family are a bit dodgy, parents don't work, lots of young kids, big scary dog, generally come across as rough.
They had a play date recently and the girl noticeably smells of weed. I know lots of parents probably smoke weed and while it's not for me, I don't necessarily think that makes them a bad parent, but they're clearly smoking it indoors around the kids. They have multiple pre-teen children including 2 under 2.
Basically is this something I should be flagging to someone? Is it even worthwhile? Am I being a pearl clutcher? I don't ever send DD to them anyway because of the dog. It's a large, very powerful breed and isn't friendly.

Report it to the schools safeguarding team. Chances are they are aware but better to let them know.

Doesn't everyone make judgements about people? The family are the same class as me. They live in the same area which is deprived. But yes I do judge smoking weed around young kids. Their lives seem a bit chaotic but this is the first time I've thought the kids weren't well cared for.

It's a mixture of facts and opinions. What do you mean by judgment? Are we not allowed to have points these days? Smoking weed around young kids makes you a bad parent. It's as simple as that.

Tbh I don't give a shit about parents smoking weed. I think it's a problem them smoking it around the kids, however I suspect you're right about social services.
